We Play The Music You & Your Guests Want
We know from experience, that at a wedding reception, you've generally got a varied age range of guests, and they'll all more than likely have a different taste in music. So how do you keep everyone happy all night?
Well, the short answer is, you can't, the younger guests will generally dislike the music the older folk like, and vice versa.
This is where a DJs experience and knowledge of reading a crowd comes into play. What we do is try to keep everyone happy by playing a little bit of everything.
Earlier on in the evening, when things are quiet, and people are just arriving, we'll play songs the older folk will like, and the more up to date songs the younger folk will like, we'll play later on in the evening.
As the night progresses, we'll have an understanding of what music the guests like, by the requests we get, and also by the style of music that people are dancing to. Our job is to keep the dance floor busy all night, by adjusting the style/tempo of the music when required.
A good DJ can make or break a party by the music they play, so don't take a chance by hiring a DJ that's inexperienced.
