"Sandstorm" was originally released as a single by Darude in 1999 and eventually went on to peak at No.3 on the UK Singles Chart in June 2000.

The track was also the biggest selling 12" single throughout the whole of the world in the year 2000.

As of September 2001, Darude has had 3 top 40 singles in the UK between 2000 - 2001, with all three of them making the top 20.
