"Flat Beat" was originally released as a single by Mr Oizo and eventually went on to hit the No.1 spot on the UK Singles Chart in April 1999.

The song became popular after being used in a Levi Jeans advert, and featured a yellow puppet called Flat Eric headbanging to the track.

This was the only hit song Mr Oizo ever had in the UK, essentially making him a one hit wonder, not a bad hit though, it sold over 3 million copies.
