"Sunday Shining" was originally released as a single by Finley Quaye and eventually peaked at No.16 on the UK Singles Chart in June 1997.

Finley was inspired early on in his childhood by jazz musician, Ronnie Scott and started of his musical career making tea and running errands for his father Cab Kaye's band.

In total, Finley Quaye had 5 top 40 singles in the UK between 1997 - 2000, with "Even After All" being his highest charting single when it reached No.10 in September 1997.
