"Elegantly Wasted" was originally released as a single by Inxs from their 1997 album "Elegantly Wasted" and was the final album recorded by lead singer Michael Hutchence.
The single eventually went on to peak at No.20 on the UK Charts in March 1997, and was the last single by the band to make the top 40 in the UK.
In total, Inxs had 15 top 40 singles in the UK between 1988 - 1997, with "Need You Tonight" being their highest charting single when it reached No.2 in November 1988.
