"Insomnia" was originally released as a single by Faithless in November 1995 and eventually went on to peak at No.27 in December 1995.
The single was then re-released in 1996, after the band thought people somehow must have 'missed' the single the first time around, this time it was a massive success, peaking at No.3 on the UK Charts in October 1996.
As of April 2007, Faithless have had 19 top 40 singles in the UK between 1995 - 2007, with "Insomnia" & "We Come 1" being their highest charting singles, both reaching No.3, with the latter reaching No.3 in June 2001.
