"Pets" was originally released in June 1993 as the the debut single by Porno For Pyros, who were formed after the demise of Jane's Addiction.
The single failed to chart in the UK, as did any of their other singles, although "Pets" did quite well over in America.
The song describes how aliens & martians, will be able to take over for us, and then states that we would make great pets to our overlords.
