"Killing In The Name" was originally released as a single by Rage Against The Machine from their 1992 self titled Debut Album.
The single eventually peaked at No.25 on the UK Charts in February 1993. In 2009, the song became the xmas No.1 after a Facebook campaign encouraged people to buy the song.
So what did people do? they said 'Ok, I'll do what you tell me, i'll go out and buy/download it', which somehow defeats the meaning behind the song we think.
