"Jump Around" was released twice as a single by House Of Pain, the first release was in 1992, then it was re-released in 1993.

The original 1992 release peaked at No.32 on the UK Charts in October 1992, then the re-release peaked at No.8 in May 1993.

The fanfare intro to the song was sampled from Bob & Earl's 1963 track "Harlem Shuffle", also on the track are samples from Prince's 1991 track "Gett Off" and Johnny Cash's 1969 track, "Daddy Sang Bass"
