"Connected" was originally released as a single by the Stereo MC's from their 1992 "Connected" album.
The bass & rhythm section of "Connected" is based around samples taken from the disco classic "(Let Me) Let Me Be Your Lover" originally recorded by Jimmy Bo Horne in 1978.
In total, the Stereo MC's had 5 top 40 singles in the UK between 1992 - 2001, with "Step It Up" being their highest charting single when it reached No.12 in December 1992.
