The Original Version of "Going Back To My Roots" was a No.4 hit single in the UK for Odyssey back in 1981.

It was later covered and released as a single in 1989 by FPI Project, eventually going on to peak at No.9 on the UK Charts in December 1989.

This was the only single FPI Project ever had in the UK top 40, although they did have other songs that were popular on the dance music scene.
