"Enjoy The Silence" was originally released as a single by Depeche Mode in 1990 and was taken from their 7th studio album "Violator"
The single eventually went on to peak at No.6 on the UK Charts in February 1990 becoming their first top 10 hit since 1984.
As of April 2009, Depeche Mode have had 43 top 40 singles in the UK, including 14 top 10 singles, but have never achieved a chart position higher than No.4.
