"Been Caught Stealing" was released as a single by Janes Addiction in November 1990 from their second studio album "Ritual De Lo Habitual"

The single eventually went on to peak at No.34 on the UK Charts in March 1991 and was the first single by the band to make the top 40 in the UK.

So far, Janes Addiction have only ever had 2 top 40 hits in the UK, the other track being "Just Because" which peaked at No.14 in July 2003.
