"Getting Away With It" was released as a the debut single by Electronic in 1989, and eventually went on to peak at No.12 on the UK Charts in December 1989.
The band consisted of New Order's Bernard Sumner & former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, with occasional guest appearances from Neil Tennant & Chris Lowe of the Pet Shop Boys, and Karl Bartos from legendary electronic pioneers Kraftwerk.
In total, Electronic had 8 top 40 singles in the UK between 1989 - 1999, with "Disappointed" being their highest charting single when it reached No.6 in July 1992.
