"And She Was" was written by David Byrne and released as a single By Talking Heads from their 1985 album Little Creatures.
The single peaked at No.17 on the UK Charts in February 1986, and would be the last top 40 hit Talking Heads would have in the UK.
The band officially split up in 1991, and to this day, have never give a clear explanation as to why they split, Byrne has said in interviews since the split, that 'musically, the band was miles apart'.
