"Drive" was originally released as a single by The Cars from their 1984 "Heartbeat City" album, with the single eventually peaking at No.5 in the Uk Charts in September 1984.
It was then re-released in 1985 after the band performed at Live Aid in Philadelphia, this time going one better reaching No.4 in August 1985.
In total, The Cars had 4 top 40 singles in the UK between 1978-1985, or 5 hit singles if you count the two versions of "Drive"
