"Wishful Thinking" was released as a single by China Crisis from their 1983 album "Working With Fire & Steel" with the single eventually going on to peak at No.9 in the UK Charts in January 1984.
It would be the only top 10 single China Crisis would have in the UK out of as total of 5 top 40 singles.
In June 2008, it was announced that they would be the support act for OMD's UK reunion tour.
