"Let's Dance" was released as a single from David Bowie's 1983 album Let's Dance, hitting the No.1 spot in both the UK & America in March 1983.

The song is David Bowie's only single to top both the UK Charts, and the American Billboard charts, and overall, was the 4th best selling single of 1983.

Stevie Ray Vaughan who had originally played guitar on the track, and at the time, was still driving a van to support himself, was furious when he saw Bowie fooling around over his guitar solo in the video.
