The "Can Can" was originally a music hall dance that originated in Paris way back in the 1830's.
Bad Manners recorded a ska version of the song in 1981, and released it as a single, going on to reach No.3 on the UK Charts in June 1981.
It was to be the band's joint highest hit single in the UK top 40, the other single being Special Brew, which also reached No.3 in August 1980.
