"Stayin' Alive" is a classic disco song that was written and recorded by The Bee Gees, in December 1977, it was released as a single from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
Upon release, the single climbed the Charts, hitting the No.1 spot on the American Billboard chart in February 1978, staying there for 4 weeks, the single also peaked at No.4 on the UK Charts the same year.
In the process, it became the band's most recognisable song, partly because of it's place at the beginning of the Saturday Night Fever Movie.
