Thelma Houston's version, with its disco arrangement, was a massive international hit, and is considered by many people to be not just one of the best song's of the disco era, but of the entire 1970's as well.
The single topped the American Billboard charts in 1976, and peaked at No.13 on the UK Charts in February 1977.
