"Get It On" was the 2nd UK No.1 for glam rock band T-Rex. It was released in 1971 as a single from their best known album "Electric Warrior"
It is arguably the group's best known song, and one of the song's most closely associated with the glam rock movement.
The song was renamed in America to "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" to avoid confusion with a song of the same name by the jazz group "Chase"
