"Fire" was written by Arthur Brown, Vincent Crane, Mike Finesilver, Peter Ker and was originally Performed and released as a single by "The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown."
The single hit the No.1 spot on the UK Charts in August 1968, and peaked at No.2 on the American billboard chart in October of the same year.
The song is a good example of the psychedelic rock sound of the late 60's, though it's lack of guitars sets it apart from many of it's contemporaries.
