"It's All Over Now" was written by Bobby Womack & Shirley Womack and was originally released as a single by "The Valentinos" in 1964.
The Rolling Stones also recorded a version that same year, and theirs went to No.1 in the UK and No.26 in America.
Years later Bobby Womack said in an interview that he told his manager that he did not want The Rolling Stones to record their version of the song, he told Mick Jagger to "get his own song"
When he received the royalty cheque for the song, he told his manager that Mick Jagger can have any song he wants.
