"Surfin' Bird" was a song performed by the American surf rock band "The Trashmen" and in 1963 it reached No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2009, "Surfin' Bird" entered the singles chart in the UK for the first time (having failed to chart when first released there in 1964), after an episode of Family Guy featured the song.
It still only managed to reach No.50 on it's second release in the UK.
