"Money (That's What I Want)" was a 1960 hit single by Barrett Strong for the Tamla label.

The song was co-written by Motown Record Label founder Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, and would become the first hit record for the label.

The song is very similar in sound and structure to the John Lee Hooker song "I Need Some Money", who actually wrote the song first though is anyone's guess.
