Charlie Rich was an American country music singer/musician who was most popular during the 1970's, although he had been performing and recording since the 1950's.
He is perhaps best remembered for two hits he had in 1973, one track was "Behind Closed Doors" and the other was "The Most Beautiful Girl"
"Lonely Weekends" was the first hit single Charlie Rich ever had, and that peaked at No.22 in the American charts in 1960.
