Buster Brown was an American Blues and R&B singer best known for his 1960 hit single "Fannie Mae"
During the 1930's and 1940's, he played harmonica at local clubs and made a few recordings.
In 1959, he recorded the archaic-sounding blues, "Fannie Mae", whose tough harmonica riffs took it into the American Top 40, and to No.1 on the R&B chart in April 1960.
