"Mack The Knife" was originally written in 1928 by Kurt Weill with lyrics by Bertolt Brecht for their music drama "The Threepenny Opera"

In 1956, the song was introduced to the American record buying public in a Version By Louis Armstrong, but the song will probably be remembered by most people with the version Bobby Darin recorded & released in 1959.

The Bobby Darin version of the song hit the No.1 spot in America, and in the UK, and it's just one of those songs that no matter how old or young you are, you can't help but tap your foot to.
