During the 1950's & 1960's Fats Domino released a series of hit songs with producer and co-writer Dave Bartholomew.

"I'm Ready" was one of the hit songs they releaseed, reaching No.16 on the American Billboard pop chart, and No.7 on the R&B chart.

As with a lot of songs that were hits in America, the single failed to make the top 40 in the UK.
