"Long Tall Sally" was written by Robert Blackwell, Enotris Johnson and Richard Penniman, who is most definitely better known as Little Richard.

It was recorded by Little Richard and released as a single in March 1956 reaching No.1 on the American R&B charts, and managed to stay at the top for 6 weeks.

It also hit No.3 on the UK Charts in February 1957, although it isn't his biggest hit song in the UK, his biggest hit in the UK was "Baby Face" which reached No.2 in January 1959.
