The Five Satins were an American doo wop group, best known for their 1956 song "In The Still Of The Night" and were formed in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1954.
The band released "In The Still Of The Night" in 1956, which was originally a b side to their other single "The Jones Girl"
It went on to peak at No.3 on the American R&B chart and No.25 on the pop Charts, while in the UK, the single failed to chart.
